Grants Panel

The grants panel is comprised of:

Non-voting
Chair, independent and non-voting unless a casting vote is required
A representative from the Olympic Lottery Distributor (OLD) – observing, non-voting
ELBA Grants Manager - acting as secretary to the panel
ELBA Grants Co-ordinator - administration

Voting (8 people)
ELBA Programme Director
A representative from the voluntary/ community sector from each of the 5 Host Boroughs
An arts expert from the local area
A sports expert from the local area

Each member of the panel brings an expertise to the discussion and ensures that the process is well informed and fair to all applicants.

A member of the OLD team sits in on the grants panel meeting to ensure that the panel is run correctly and follows due process.

The chair is independent and does not take part in the decision making process unless the grants panel is evenly divided in opinion. In this instance the chair has the deciding vote.

Trying to contact any member of the grants panel to discuss pending applications or final decisions is strictly forbidden and will result in disqualification from the grant scheme.
