E-Flow Rhythm Runners
Amount awarded:
£20,000
Duration of grant:
January 2012 to December 2012

E-Flow Rhythm Runners is a Parkour and Break Dance group for young people aged 11-16 years old, living in deprived areas of Waltham Forest who are at the highest risk of involvement in gang-related crime, gang rivalry and anti-social behaviour. Parkour is a great way for young people to see their environment as a creative playground, rather than a place of crime, rivalry and unrest. The group will function in and around the Olympic area of London, and use the Olympics as a way of inspiring young people to reach their full potential.
