The Building Exploratory

The Building Exploratory runs interactive exhibitions and exciting programmes to help people discover their local area. It is using its grant to work with older people and school children in Bow to create a ‘People’s archive’, capturing people’s memories of life in East London. The project will explore the impact of the 2012 Games on older people’s lives and look at how they think it will change the area, to help them become more engaged with the Olympic and Paralympic Games, while young people will be involved in the design of the website.
