EAST LONDON BUSINESS ALLIANCE (ELBA) DATA PROTECTION STATEMENT

Information that you supply to ELBA in connection with your Application (which includes all information sent to ELBA that involves communication about the Transformers Grants scheme, relates to your Transformers Grant application, or, in the event of an award, relates to that award) will be used to process your Application and for the purposes of audit and/or evaluation. Your personal data will be stored by or on behalf of ELBA, and/or organisations connected with it (see paragraph 3), in accordance with the Data Protection Act 1998.

All applications will be kept on file electronically by ELBA until March 2013 when the scheme will be closed. Paper based applications and supporting documents will be kept for 6 months after the preceding deadline and will then be destroyed.

Funding for the Transformers’ Grant scheme comes from the National Lottery through the Olympic Lottery Distributor (OLD). Because of this your personal data may also be disclosed to and processed by the OLD. ELBA may publish basic details of successful awards (e.g. on its website or in its Annual Report). ELBA may also use your personal data for research and statistical purposes.

Your application will not be used for any additional purposes or disclosed to any third parties without your permission, (other than as set out in the above paragraph) except where this is required by law. ELBA may also release details of successful awards (including your name and employing Institution, the project title, and the summaries of the project) into the public domain (e.g. via the internet or via publicly accessible databases).

ELBA may contact you about other award schemes and initiatives that may be of interest to you, or for your views on its funding schemes and application processes. If you do not wish to receive this information you can request the removal of your contact details from this information stream.
